U.S. Navy EA-18G Growler (BuNo. 166899) of VAQ-129 Vikings. The FRS (Fleet Repalcement Squadron) is based out of NAS Whidbey Island WA where it trains crews in the art of electronic attack/warfare. This particular aircraft is crewed by Cmdr. Tim Murphy and Lt. J (Jason) Tippett. The unique livery is part of the 2011 Heritage Paint Scheme which has been applied to selected Navy aircraft in celebration of 100 years of U.S. Naval Aviation.

The three tone colour scheme depicted here was designed by Captain Richard Dann and represents an F4U-4 Corsair of VBF-85 "Sky Pirates" aboard USS Shangri-La (CV 34) circa 1944.
